Maryam Amatullah-Wali is a Muslim African American soprano with an expressive and boundless voice and spirit to match. She has performed extensively throughout her hometown of New York City. Most notably, as Gilda (Rigoletto) with Regina Opera Company, NY, where her coloratura was praised for being exceptional, with agility and grace. Her repertoire includes lead roles as Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan Tutté), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Antonia, (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Pamina (The Magic Flute), Yum-Yum (The Mikado), and Micaëla (Carmen).

Maryam was a finalist in the NJ NATS competition and was 1 of 30 to be accepted into the Advanced Artists Program at Opera Works in Los Angeles, California. In 2022, she began working with After Arts Group and in the summer of 2023, she will participate in the Vienna Summer Music Festival in Vienna, Austria.
